Joyce's Search Tip - December 2007 -
Do You Know that you can search just the Bradford County Cemetery Records on the site by using the Cemeteries -Bradford button in the Partitioned search engine at the bottom of the Current What's New Page? If you use that partition follow these steps to search just one cemetery
1. Choose Cemeteries - Bradford.
2. Enter part of the cemetery name [ie Ballard or Berrytown] AND a surname.
3. Choose the Find ALL Words option. Then it will find just the pages with that surname in the one cemetery you indicated.

(1) Many of the Columbia families overlap the families of Sullivan and Rutland Townships included in Joyce's Sullivan-Rutland Genealogy Project. Some also moved to Sullivan and Rutland from Columbia, or had properties that overlapped the boundaries. Many others intermarried with Sullivan or Rutland township families. The SRGP IDs are the references to that person in Joyce's database. I have also added the married women's real surnames if they are not on the tombstone and where they are known by me.

Hello Joyce:

Just thought I'd send this information along to you, for your records.
I turned over a large headstone in Fries Cemetery and found the following inscription:
"Asenath McCARRICK wife of James H. CADOO 1852 - 1880". She may have died in childbirth or shortly thereafter. On Tri-Counties, I found an Asaneth CADOO in Elmira, born March 1880.
I hope all is well there in Pennsylvania. It's a beautiful and colorful time of year in that part of the county.
