I was just going through the directories 1908 and came across the tie
in to the "Jewelry Lady" photo I sent. Mansfield Borough 323
SAKS, EDWARD C. (HELEN) Jeweler and Optician 14 E Wellsboro St.
SAKS & MILLER THEATORIUM
The photo has found a home!!
The site just keeps getting better.

Saks Theatorium, an early movie
theater in Mansfield was on Wellsboro Street east of Hoard Street.
First motion picture house in Northern Pennsylvania. Operated 1907
to 1916 when it burned.

Wellsboro Agitator of 01/17/1906 says Edward Saks and wife and T. W. Judge
and wife of Mansfield were in Wellsboro to see "The Office Boy," a p;ay
"on the road" at Bache Theater.
