The Reuben Squires Store at left stood at the end of the road where my house is in Sullivan Township. It burned in the 1920s. This postcard photo was found in my grandfather's (Lee Tice) album. Reuben relocated to Austinville about 1921and set up a store there. 

At left is a photo of Reuben Squires with his sisters Permelia Squires "McConnell" and Nettie Squires "Smith" who owned the house I now own in Sullivan Township. The photo is before 1917 because that is when my grandparents bought the property on which it was taken. Above is a photo I took in 1999 of the location of the Reuben Squires' store. Only the lilacs and stones from the foundation indicate its location.
