Dear Joyce: Want to give you and your helpers a big THANK YOU! I have been into many, many sites, looking for my ancestors and yours is the very best.
My Great Great Grandfather Josiah Hull settled in Athens sometime around 1845. My only clue was that my Great Grandfather, Walter H. Hull was born in Athens in 1870. I started looking in your 1850 census and low and behold there was the whole family. Josiah and his son Charles F. (T.) where both listed as blacksmiths. You have a 1888 group picture of the Old Union Bridge Works, Blacksmith Department on your "Businesses of the Tri-Counties. The unknown, next to left of Mike Doran is almost certain to be my Great Uncle Charles T. Hull. I have family pictures of him on the Kansas ranch at a later date, the resemblance is there.
My sincere thanks. Keep up the good work.
Walter B. Hull

Theetge's garage was on Elmer Avenue in Sayre. Al Theetge was married to Marian Duebler, daughter of Harry and Florence Jayne Duebler. They had two daughters, Sally and Beverly. Al's parents, Edwin and Cora Theetge, ran Theetge's Grocery on the corner of S. Keystone Avenue and Center Street in Sayre, across the street from my great-grandfather, David C. Hulslander's, home.
