Carrie E. Nixon married December 24^th 18___(last two digits missing) to Walter N. Wood by Rev. J.C. Bradbury all of Caton.

Mary L. Nixon married April 3^rd 1888 to Charles A. Stanton by Rev. H. Carpenter at West Caton, New York.

Married in this borough on the 11^th Inst., by the Rev. Benjamin Shipman, Mr. Daniel Weeden of New York to Mrs. Cynthia Murphey of this Borough.

March 21^st 1835:

Died in this borough this afternoon, Mrs. Wilcox, wife of Gates Wilcox, Esq., aged about 43 years after a lingering illness of several months.

I recently read this entry in your George P. and Rachel M. Hunt Nixon Family Bible

March 21st 1835:

Died in this borough this afternoon, Mrs. Wilcox, wife of Gates Wilcox, Esq., aged about 43 years after a lingering illness of several months.

Mrs. Wilcox was Prudence "Prudy" Lewis.  I believe she was married to my mother's father's decedent, Gates Wilcox, who would have been born around September 21, 1790 in Bradford County, PA.  I believe they had four children:  Dewitt Clinton, George, Lewis Gates and Sara Ann.  I thought you might find this interesting and would appreciate it if anyone has any information of related to these people.
