Joyce,
Here's the first installment. I transcribed it first onto regular paper
and could see all the irregular spellings. I will try to write those words
in italics and underlined so you know that it isn't a typo of mine. [format
lost when converted to HTML] Also I will try to capitalize as these
words were written. Also, there were marks like commas after dates, which
I'm including. These records have come through my mother's father's family.
In transcribing the records, I realized that Abram Cole had married Hanah
Devenport one month after his first wife, Marilda, died apparently in childbirth.
Interesting. Also, I scanned and attached an envelope mailed in 1897
to a relative, just an FYI. I have yet to figure all these folks out.

Edgan Smith was Bornd April the 19-- 1830
