The following Bible record was furnished by Mildred CAMPBELL Abplanalp, Wellsboro, Tioga County, Pennsylvania. Eli Gilbert Campbell was a lumber man and followed the jobs, so his children were born in Tioga County, Lycoming County and Clearfield County, Pennsylvania.

Eli Gilbert Campbell was born 8^th Jun 1843 in Clearfield County, Pa., son of Robert Campbell Jr. And Rhoda McMasters; a grandson of Robert and Rachel (Morrison) Campbell and Edward and Rhoda (Fairchild) McMasters.

He died 23^rd August 1917 in Gaines Township, Tioga County, Pa., Married 2^nd May 1864 by Elder Rook at Liberty, Tioga Co., Pa., to Mary Ellen Love born 14^th August 1845, daughter of John M. and Sarah Adelaide (Hardy) Love. Mary Ellen died 14 Oct 1935 at Mansfield, Tioga county, Pa. They are both buried at Phoenix Cemetery located in Gaines Township.

Eli Gilbert Campbell served in the Civil War.

5. Edwin Leroy born 23 May 1873; died 1945; m. Edith Campbell

6. Ida born 7 Mar 1875; died 1940; m. William Robinson

7. Elizabeth born 13 Dec 1877; died young

8. John Love born 15 Nov 1878; died 17 Jan 1949; m. Alberta P.

9. Blanche Edith born 26 Dec 1880; died 25 Dec 1957; m. Claude D. Preston

10. Della Mary born 20 Nov 1886; died m. Fred Campman

11. Clayton Andrew born 13 Aug 1888; died 18 Aug 1963; m. Agnes
