Rev. U.S. Hall was married to  Sophia E. Briggs April 20th 1872 by Rev.L. Lousey assisted by Rev. J. Galick

Jacob Briggs was born in Duanesburg, N.Y. February 19th 1813

Hester Ann Jewell born in Vienna, Oneida Co. N.Y. March 31st 1816

Phebe Aurelia Briggs born in Jackson, Tioga Co. Pa. Feb.18th 1841

Sophia Briggs born in the town of Jackson, Tioga Co. Pa. April 7th 1842

Lydia Jane Briggs was born  in Jackson, Tioga Co. Penn May 27th 1845

Oliver Jewell Briggs was born in the town of Jackson, Tioga Co. Penn June 13th 1848

Andrew Clarence Briggs born in Jackson, Tioga Co. Penn July 18th 1850

Hester Eliza Briggs was born in Jackson, Tioga Co. Pa July 26th 1854

Willard Jacob Briggs was born in  Jackson, Tioga Co. Pa January 29th 1857

DEATHS

Jacob Briggs died in the  town of Southport, N.Y. Sep  8th 1883

Hester Ann Briggs, widow of the late Jacob Briggs, died in Southport, Chemung Co. N.Y. October 25th 1886    aged 70 years 6 months and 25 days

Willard Jacob Briggs, son of Jacob and Hester Ann Briggs, died Feb 20th 1898 aged 41 years and 22 days

Sophia E. Hall died Jan 24 1907 at Port Chester N.Y.

Oliver Jewell Briggs m. 1st Belle Dounce and 2nd Emmer D. Tanner. He died 19 Jan 1913

Andrew Clarence Briggs m. Nettie [Janette] Hammond. He died in 1928 and is buried in Middlebury Cemetery       #3 [ new Middlebury Cem]

Hester Eliza Briggs m. Mark B. Beal. They lived in Rochester,NY, Michigan and California. She was called      "Lida"

Lydia Jane was called "Jennie" and lived in Cortland NY.

Willard Jacob Briggs m. Carrie Johnson

Burial place for Jacob and Hester Ann [Jewell] Briggs and two sons, Oliver  and Willard, is in Webb Mills Cem, Chemung Co NY

Phebe A.[Briggs] Gaige died in Mansfield, PA 3 May 1927 and is buried in Maple Ridge Cem, Jackson T,  Tioga Co. PA

Hester Ann [Jewell] and Jacob Briggs seven children all had children.  There were 19 grandchildren.
