Richmond Township (Canoe Camp) Ernest Parshall INSCHO Ernest Parshall Inscho was born June 30, 1877 in Jackson Township, the
second child of William Wallace Inscho (SRGP 74996) and Katherine Dorothea
Fuller. He graduated from Mansfield Normal Teachers College in 1899 and
for two years taught school at Pickle
Hill School. He married Mary Zobeide Jones in Elmira, New York
on August 15, 1900. Mary was born in Kansas in 1875, but nothing else is
known about her or her parents. Their first two children, Carson and Ralph,
were born in Tioga County. The last two children, Robert and Dorothy, were
born in Birmingham, Alabama where Ernest had established a plumbing business
about 1907. During WW I Ernest was superintendent of plumbing and heating
at Fort McClellan. After WW II he and two of his sons installed the plumbing
in several thousand homes in the Birmingham area.
