Dear Joyce,
I am attaching a photo of a baseball team. My grandfather and
great uncle are the only two players I can identify. They are both
in the back row.
Third from the left is my grandfather, William James COON ( 1895-1976)
who lived in Granville Summit from 1900-1930. He married Lena May
SMITH.
Fifth from the left is my great uncle, Leon EVANS (1894-1964) who also
lived in Granville Summit. He married Mary Ellen SMITH, who was Lena's
sister.
There are no identifying marks anywhere on the photo. I suspect
it may have been taken in the Canton area in the late 1910's or early 1920's.
