Ann SMITH (b @ 1805), daughter of Eber SMITH
(1770/72-1866) and Lydia MERE (1773-1842), was born in Pennsylvania
12 August 1804. She is probably of Quaker descent. She married
1st Merrick Crandall and had 4 children: Sarah, Harriet, Andrew,
and Hannah. Her first husband is descended from Elder John Crandall.
After 1848, she married Dr. Irad Wilson with whom she had one child who
died age four. Ann and Irad cared for her aged father, Eber, in their home
in Alba. She outlived her second husband, but is not buried with him in
the Alba Cemetery.
