Hi Joyce,
This is a photo of John Brown of Shunk, John was
born in 1817 and died in 1897. We do not know the date, or where
this photo was taken, but it fits the catagory of a Cabinet Card (as per
the description on you site). The name on the back of the card was
John Brown, and it was in my Grandmother's handwriting. This would
be my GG-Grandfather. I also have in my possession (thanks to a fantastic
mother) a larger copy of this picture in an oval frame with the curved
glass.
