Brown, Elmyra 1850
Hi,. This is a 1/6th plate daguerreotype in it's original wall frame/case. Stamped on the brass mat is BROWN ARTIST at the top and ELMYRA at the bottom. written behind the daguerreotype is "Taken 1850 Age 9"  I hope that this is of interest. Laurence Lindberg Richmond Va.
Hi again, I just remembered these two ambrotypes. The one of the two young men is marked on the mat " J. W. HOUSE ELMYRA" the one of the three girls is marked " T. J. B. HOUSE"
I've never found a listing for TJB, but I bought them from the same estate, and so  it is probably Elmyra as well.  There is no other information with these,  but they probably date to the 1854-64 period. Laurence Lindberg Richmond Va
