These people were the local populace at a particular time. The people buried here knew each other, were neighbors, relatives and school mates. They attended church together and engaged in "trade" or business. All people are listed in alphabetic order by surname at BIRTH. Women identified by a married alias only and for whom a birth surname can not be identified, are listed on the last page for the cemetery's obituaries. of Elmira Heights, Friday, July 24, 1964. He was a retired employee of
former Cowanesque Valley Motor Express. Survived by wife, Mrs. Irene Ingersoll:
sons Robert E. of Horseheads, Capt. William A. of McGuire Air Force Base,

Charles F. INGERSOLL, 69, of Jamestown, formerly of 321 Madison Ave., Elmira, died early Monday, Jan. 13, 1941, in a Jamestown hospital. He is survived by is wife, two brothers, L. E. Ingersoll, 172 E. 14th St., Elmira Heights, and Vernon S. Ingersoll of Rock Center, L. I.; two sisters, Mrs. D. H. Orr of Addison and Mrs. Frances Barbour, 172 E. 14th St., Elmira Heights. Mr. Ingersoll was a State Officer in the Protective Home Circle. Body will arrive on the Erie Wednesday noon and will be removed to the Davis funeral home where funeral will be held Thursday at 2. p. m. The Rev. Henry White will officiate. CLARK S. INGRAHAM - The funeral of Clark S. Ingraham was held yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock from Trinity church. The Rev. Charles H. McKnight officiated. The Elmira druggists attended in a body, all the drug stores of the city being closed from 2 o’clock until 4 o’clock. This honorary casket bearers were the vestrymen of Trinity church, the deceased being a member of the vestry. Interment was in Woodlawn cemetery.

ISZARD SR., Merchant and Civic Leader - With sadness, we mourn the
passing of Robert F Iszard of Seneca View Skilled Nursing, formerly of
Elmira, who died on February 26, 2016 at the age of 96. His wife of 53
years, Dorothy Lackmann Iszard preceded him in death in November 1995. He is
survived by a son and two daughters, Robert French Iszard, Jr. (Martha
Fassett) of Glenora, NY, Karen Elizabeth Brinton (Buck) of Towson, MD, and
Barbara Helen Hislop of Veteran, NY; seven grandchildren, John Fassett
Iszard (Candace), Sara French Iszard (Jennifer), Thatcher Pierce Brinton
(Melita), Robert French Brinton, Nathaniel Buck Brinton (Katie), Shona
Caroline Stephan (Alan), Jonathan Scarfe Hislop (Alison Clark); nine
great-grandchildren, his two brothers, William VanMater Iszard (Phyllis )
and Dr. David McClure Iszard. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Bob was born on August 8, 1919, the son of Harry York Iszard and Helen
VanMater Iszard who predeceased him in 1971 and 1991. Bob graduated from
Elmira Free Academy and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (1941) with a
degree in Aeronautical Engineering. He was a member of Delta Tau Delta
Fraternity at RPI. After graduation he worked for Vought-Sikorsky in
Stratford, CT. Bob served in World War II as a Naval Pilot achieving the
rank of Lt. Commander and continued in the Navy Reserves for numerous years.
Bob was President and Chairman of the S. F. Iszard Co. where he worked for
45 years. He was a past President of the National Retail Merchants
Association, Elmira Downtown Development, Elmira Country Club, Elmira City
Club, and the Arctic League. He sat on the board of Bethany Retirement Home,
the Elmira School Board, and Columbia Bank and many other civic
organizations in Elmira. Bob was a member of Park Church and the Kiwanis
club. His family would like to thank all of the dedicated and remarkable
employees of the S. F. Iszard Co. who were such a large part of his life.
His life was one of success as a family man and businessman. While
passionate about flying as a young man, he developed other interests
throughout his life; golf, the ocean, and baseball. He was a good man who
will be profoundly missed by family and friends. There will be no calling
hours. Burial will be at the convenience of his family at Woodlawn Cemetery.

THOMAS W. ISZARD
III, 91, of Towanda, Pennsylvania, passed away Sunday, Feb. 24, 2019 at the
Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pennsylvania. Thomas was born April 6, 1927
in Elmira, New York, the son of Thomas W. Iszard II and Annalee Davis
Iszard. He was a graduate of Elmira Free Academy High School and continued
his education at VMI. Thomas served with the U.S. Navy from July 27, 1945 to
Aug. 7, 1946 during World War II. He received his Bachelor of Science degree
in engineering at Bucknell University in 1950. He then worked for Huber Oil
in Bayonne, New Jersey. On Sept. 8, 1956, Thomas married the former Dorris
Smalet. In 1962 he became employed by Corning Glass Works in Corning, New
York, until 1967 when he and his family moved to Towanda, Pennsylvania. Mr.
Iszard taught math and science classes at the Towanda Middle School and
later the computer course at the Towanda Area High School for a total of 25
years until retirement. Thomas and Dorris spent many hours lovingly
restoring the interior of their first home in Towanda, the historic Alfred
Long house at the corner of Second and Poplar streets. In the mid 1970s,
Thomas and Dorris purchased the Blackman home and acreage in Sheshequin. The
house, which dates from 1791 was restored by Mr. and Mrs. Iszard and they
moved the family there in 1982. Thomas was a skilled woodworker and enjoyed
home improvement projects. In early years, Thomas was a member of the
Towanda Teachers Bowling League. He loved to travel and research his family
history. Thomas is survived by sons, Alex (Marcy) of Bethesda, Maryland, and
Davis (Andrea) of New York City; and a daughter, Barbara Iszard of Silver
Spring, Maryland; grandchildren, Alex, Emily, Andrew and Michael;
great-grandsons, Everett and Carson; daughter-in-law, Eleanor Kirkconnell of
Manassas, Virginia. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his
wife, Dorris S. C. Iszard in 2015; and son, Thomas W. Iszard IV in 2006. A
private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
There are no calling hours. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira,
New York. The family suggests that contributions may be directed to the
Towanda Fire Department, 101 Elm St., Towanda, PA or the Bradford County
Humane Society in Ulster, Pennsylvania in memory of Thomas W. Iszard III.

JACKSON Henry A. (Scat) Jackson Jr.
Elmira: Age 62, died Saturday May 12, 2012 at home. Predeceased by mother, Avery Perry and brothers Moses & John Scharborough. He is survived by his companion Terri Williams; children Jayson Smith and Katelyn Young; step daughter Priscilla Williams; brother Milton Smith; sisters Carrie Butler, Josie Scharborough, Louise Robinson, Bessie Hughes, Annette Wickes, Kathleen Scharborough and Vera Wood, 10 grandchildren and a host of neices and nephews. JACKSON William Y.
Age 85, of Elmira, died Wednesday, May 17, 2006, at St. Joseph's Hospital. Bill was born August 28, 1920, the son of William and Emily Kaulfiers Jackson. He married Jean O'Daniels on August 29, 1950, at North Presbyterian Church, Elmira. Bill is survived by his wife; sons, Douglas S. Jackson of New Orleans, LA, Bruce W. Jackson of Vail, AZ, with fiancée, Sherri Hayes, and Scott R. Jackson of Elmira, with Wendy Sweely; grandchildren, Kerry Sue (James) Bailey of Virginia Beach, VA, Bruce W. Jackson, II of Fort Stewart, GA, and William H. Jackson of Tucson, AZ; great-grandchildren, Bruce W. Jackson, III, Kristen Rose Stanton, Joscelyn Rose Jackson and James Clement Bailey IV; sister-in-law, Nancy O'Daniels of Manchester, NY; along with several nieces and nephews. Bill worked at Remington Rand as a draftsman, before going to work for American LaFrance, from where he retired. He was an avid painter and artist. Bill was active in many organizations: Scottish American Club, AARP Volunteer, Elmira Heights Senior Citizens Center, and he was a Boy Scout Troop Leader during the 1970's. He was also a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church, Elmira, where he was a member of the choir for over 60 years. Family and friends will be received at Sullivan's Funeral Home, 365 E. Age 30 of Irving, TX, formerly of Lindley, NY. He was born October 28, 1981 in Corning, NY, son of Don L. and Emma (Tidwell) Jackson and died Wednesday, May 30, 2012 unexpectedly at home. He was predeceased by his grandparents Joseph Tidwell and Orine Tidwell and brother Mike Jeronimo. He is survived by his parents of Lindley, NY; brothers Bryan Jackson of Elmira and Don Jackson of Corning, NY; nephews Devon, Dominik, Noah, Damon and Don, Jr.; nieces Arianna and Aiyana; grandmother Lorraine Lee and uncle Glen Harris both of Rochester, NY and aunt Nehru Lee of Elmira, NY along with a host of very good friends. Glenn graduated from Corning West High School and Mansfield University. He was employed as an Admission Administrator with Argosy University in Irving, TX. SPENCER, age 94, of Elmira, NY passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at
St. Joseph's Skilled Nursing Facility, Elmira. Born in Philadelphia, PA on
July 4, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Philip and the late Clara
(Stiles) Jago. She married Walter Spencer on February 1, 1944. He preceded
her in death on August 7, 2002. Mary worked as a homemaker raising her
children. In her free time, Mary will be remembered for her love of camping,
flower gardening and crafts. Mary is survived by children: Kathy of Elmira,
NY, Joan (Larry) of Pine City, NY, Sandra (Richard) of NC; daughter-in-law,
Diane of PA and families; and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents
and husband, Mary was predeceased by son, Kent; son-in-law, Thomas Moore;
sister, Edna and brother, Raymond. It was Mary's wish that there be no

JANOWSKY age 76, of Elmira Heights, passed away Friday, June 12, 2015.
Doris was born in Montour Falls NY on May 26, 1939 a daughter of the late
Julius and Lillian (Reidy) Janowsky. She is also predeceased by her
brothers, Julius, Jr. and Charles Janowsky. Doris is survived by her sister
and brother-in-law, Caroline and Donald Barron of Elmira; brother and
sister-in-law, Edward and Joyce Janowsky of State College PA; numerous
nieces, nephews , great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces,
great-great nephews and many friends. Doris was a much loved sister and
aunt. She was known for making her family laugh. Doris enjoyed playing cards
and listening to all types of music. Family and friends are invited to

JANOWSKY –ELIZABETH C. BOYCE, age 87, of the Bradford County Manor, formerly of Canton, died at the Manor on Saturday, Feb. 21, 1981. Mrs. Boyce was born in Elmira on June 10, 1893, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Janowsky. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Jack (Joyce) Riley of Glenn Mills, Pa. and Mrs. Betsy Storrs of Hereford, Pa.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Anna Moderhak, Denver, Colo.; one brother, Emil Janowsky of New York State; two nephews. Funeral and committal services were held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Morse and Kleese Funeral Home, 40 N. Center St., Canton with the Rev. Paul M. October 16, 2001 at Elcor Health Services, Horseheads, NY. She is survived by
daughter: Doris Houghtalen of Elmira, grand-daughters, Pamela (Daniel)
Schemerhorn and Susan L. Houghtalen: great granddaughters: Heather and
Stephanie Schemerhorn, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Margaret was
predeceased by her husband, Clyde T. Curren in 1978. She was a member of the
First United Church of Christ and a 50-year member of Harmony Loyal Chapter of

JELLIFF Francis (SRGP 38906) Christmas Land Creator Age 84, very well-known Town of Southport resident, died Monday, June 26th, 2006, at St. Joseph's Hospital. Fran was born in Bentley Creek, PA, the son of the late Olin Roy and Eva Whipple Jelliff. He was also predeceased by his loving wife and friend who he dearly missed, Dorothy Breese Jelliff, on September 9th, 1998. Through his hard work, and long hours, Fran was instrumental in bringing the Christmas spirit to the children and adults in the area, with his Christmas Land. Originally located at his former home on Hazel Street in the Town of Southport, now being displayed during the holiday season in the Southport Volunteer Fire Department Field. Fran is dearly missed by his sister, Genevra Genung of Horseheads, NY; brother-in-law, Roger D. (Skip) Breese of FL; and several loving nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he is predeceased by his brothers, Jim, and Ray Jelliff who he was very close to. He was also very well-known through his devotion and membership in the Pennsylvania Avenue United Methodist Church. Fran was a mainstay of help for the church for many years. Whatever the church needed, he was there to give his all. He loved collecting various things that held historical value, along with many stamps. Fran will be dearly missed in the area for all his contributions that have made Southport and its community the wonderful place it is today. Through Christmas Land, Fran has left his mark of joy to be enjoyed by many generations of children to come.
JENKINS--Alfred B. Jenkins died at the family residence, 110 West Gray street, Sunday morning at 6 o'clock, aged seventy-four years. He formerly resided in Finlay, Oh., and for the past twenty years had made his home in Elmira. For twelve years he had managed two concessions at Eldridge park. The remains repose in the Wilson undertaking rooms. The funeral will be held at the home of Mr. Stephen Myers, 370 E. Warren street, Wednesday at 4 o'clock. Burial in Woodlawn cemetery.

Thursday, October 31, 2019. She is survived by many family and friends,
including her Godmother, Theresa Banik; predeceased by her parents, Phyllis

Liberatore, whom he shared more than 62 years with and has greatly missed, along with his son Ron. He was also predeceased by his brother Carlton and his parents Frank and Florence (Buck) Jerram. He left high school to serve in the Navy as a Signalman from 1943-1947, then served in the Army as a 2nd Lieutenant until 1954. He received a Business Administration degree from Syracuse University and began his career at Cazenovia College. He worked for Thatcher Glass and then retired from the NY State where he was a tax auditor. He is survived by his son, Tom (Jill) and daughter Judy (Bob) Schaeffler; grandchildren, Tom (Suzanne), Melissa (Matt) Guido, Jonathan (Holly) and 4 great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Philip Liberatore; and several nieces and nephews. He was always kind, patient and willing to help others in any way he could. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. retired from the Arnot Ogden Medical Center where she was employed in the food
service department for many years. Esther was devoted to her family and a
member of the Monumental Baptist Church where she served as Pastors Aid.

He was born on January 27, 1923 in Glasgow, VA to the late Jonah and Freda (Snead) Jividen. Charles was predeceased by his wife, Doris Adele Rollins Jividen, grandchildren, Eric, Uriah, Isaiah and Cody, second wife, Edith A. Strope Jividen, daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Dick Dean, brothers, Jim and John Jividen, sister, Evelyn White and twin sister, Mercedes "Dee Dee" Wheeler. He is survived by his son, Charles (Nanette) D. He retired from Thatcher Glass and was a night manager for 13 years at Elizabeth Square in Waverly before being struck with Alzheimer's disease. JOHNSON Agnes Johnson Gunderman
age 98 years, was received into the arms of the Lord on Monday, September 12, 2011, after a short illness. Agnes Gunderman, of Williamsburg, VA and Elmira, NY, was born October 12, 1912 in Galeton, Potter County, PA and was baptized there at Saint Paul's Lutheran Church. She moved to Elmira with her family when she was nine years old, where she was confirmed at Bethany Lutheran Church. She later married Gerald J. Gunderman in 1934, who predeceased her January 30, 1998. She lived in Elmira for 62 years before moving to Williamsburg in 1996; Agnes moved back to Elmira in 2010 to reside at Woodbrook. She was a member of the North Presbyterian Church for over 63 years. There she served as a Deacon and was an original member of the Welch Bell Choir. Agnes was a devoted homemaker, loving wife, mother and friend. She was an avid gardener, seamstress and enjoyed playing piano, organ and keyboard. She and her husband loved to travel and square dance and were longtime members of the Twin Tier Squares. Agnes leaves three daughters and sons-in-law to mourn her loss, Ardith and Dr. Richard F. Boggs of Savannah, GA, Barbara and The Right Reverend Martin G. Townsend of Springfield, WV, Sheryl and Elmer R. JOHNSON age 97 of Elmira, NY. He was born August 24, 1919 in Morris Run,
PA, son of the late Charles and Maria (Payne) Johnson and passed away
Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. He was
predeceased by his wife of 67 years, Edith Ramberg Johnson on March 17, 2009
and is survived by his daughter Sharon (William Hurley) Mashanic of Elmira;
sister-in-law Betty Ramberg of Erwin, NY; special nephews James W. Allen and
G. Wendell Hand of Pine City, Carl (Camille) Johnson of Dothan, AL; special
nieces Shelley Pierri of Erwin, NY and Jeanette White of Horseheads along
with several grand nieces and nephews. Gib was a well respected tool and die
and model maker at Remington Rand. He had a brilliant mind and his
suggestions for his injection mold invention saved the company time and
money. After Rand closed, he was employed with Thatcher Research and was
commended for his high standards and work ethic. He was exempt from being
drafted during WWII as he was married and had a one year old daughter,
however, he saw it as his patriotic duty to serve his country so he enlisted
in the U.S. Navy leaving his wife and daughter to live with her parents
while he was gone. He was honorably discharged and reunited with his family.
Gib was the oldest member of Bethany Lutheran Church and served for many
years on the property committee. He was an excellent carpenter and the
beautiful cross he created has been placed above the altar. His memberships
include the Ilion (NY) Olive Branch Lodge # 40, F & AM for over 65 years and
the American Legion, Clarence R. Oliver Post 154, Elmira Heights for over 48
years. One of his finer qualities was simplicity. He lived by important
values - Honesty, Integrity and fairness to everyone. His happy attitude and
infectious smile will be missed. He was loved by everyone. His daughter
Sharon wants to thank the Elmira Fire Department EMT's, the physicians and
staff in the emergency room at the Arnot Ogden who took wonderful care of
him when he was there and am so thankful for Dr. Greenberg, Dr. Massa and
all the other physicians and the wonderful staff and nurses on the 5th floor
for their dedication, loving care and kindness they gave Dad during his last
days. Sharon also thanks all the dedicated staff and volunteers who
delivered Meals on Wheels each day, rain or shine, or with many obstacles
they had to endure when delivering his meals these past few months, I will

JOHNSON age 84, passed away peacefully at Elcor Health Care Services on
Thursday, December 18, 2014. She was born on March 4, 1930 to Emil and Pearl
(Lovejoy) Johnson in Elmira. While in high school Marilyn was employed in
the diet kitchen at Arnot Ogden Medical Center. After graduation from Elmira
Free Academy in 1948, Marilyn took a job as a telephone operator at New York
Telephone Co., where she remained for 20 years, rising to the position of
night supervisor. In 1968 Marilyn joined with several others to form Totem
Taxi Co., being the sole owner at the time of her death. Marilyn enjoyed
traveling; in 1972 she accompanied her aunt, Sigrid Johnson on a trip to
Sweden to visit relatives. In 1982 she traveled with a group on an exciting
and educational trip around the world. London was always a favorite
destination. Marilyn was a caring person and an animal lover, taking in many
strays over the years. She will truly be missed by her family and friends,
employees at Totem Taxi, and all who knew her. The family would like to
thank the employees of Elcor, St. Joseph's Hospital and also Bea Seymour of
Horseheads for their attentive care, doing whatever possible to keep Marilyn
comfortable in her final journey. Marilyn is survived by her sister,

married Samuel Butts Jr. in 1946 and he died in 1969. She is best remembered
for the constant care and attention she offered her family as a homemaker. In
serving the Lord, Marion was a member of the Elmira Christian Center. Surviving

JONES CATHERINE GENAWAY
Catherine Age 89, died peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital whose care she had
been under for the past few days. Catherine was born February 22, 1917 Parmenter
Hill, Jackson Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania daughter of John Jones and
Alice Mae Orton. They soon moved and she was raised on the family farm in the
Seeley Creek Valley, Wells Township, Bradford County, Pennsylvania and attended
Millerton High School where she excelled in athletics. She was employed at the
Dixie Barbecue and Earl and Jerry's in Elmira. Catherine married June 30, 1956
in Elmira, New York, Lester Wilbur Genaway and they made their home for many
years at 757 Chester Street, Elmira. Their long time summer home was in Hector,
New York on Seneca Lake. She is survived by her husband; two brothers, Raymond
Jones and his wife Julia of Pine City and John Jones, Jr., and his wife Marilyn
of Wells Township; nephews and nieces, Beverly Jones Wess of Fairport, New
York; David Jones of Shokan, New York; Robert Nash of Endicott, New York;
Patricia Nash of Lake Hiawatha, New Jersey; Alvin Jones of York, Pennsylvania;

employee passes away
Ira Jones, for twenty-three years an employee of the Elmira, Cortland railroad,
died last Sunday morning at the Arnot Ogden hospital, aged thirty-seven
years. One week ago last Tuesday Mr. Jones was taken ill and was removed
to the hospital, where the attending physician diagnosed his case as an attack
of typhoid fever. His illness was not considered serious until Saturday
night, when he was attacked with a severe fit of vomiting and sank gradually
until death relieved his sufferings. The immediate cause of death was
pronounced to be a rupture, through vomiting of the avdominal viscera.
The funeral services, Rev. Dr. Mills, officiating, were held from his home, No.
66 West Clinton Street, Thursday afternoon at 12:30 o'clock, and the interment
was in Woodlawn. The floral tributes were especially beautiful, and
included a pillow O.R. & C. No. 9, with the inscription "O.R. &
C., division 9," and a handsome floral piece from the employees of the
Elmira, Cortland & Northern. The pall bearers were Messers Jacob
Hinman, Ed Ostrander, Valentine Flynn, Patrick Lane, Elmer Quimby and Matthew
Webb. Mr. Jones commenced to work for the Elmira, Cortland & Northern
company as a water boy in 1878. Faithfully performing his duties of his
humble position, he was rapidly advanced. He was at one time a section
boss and at the time of his death was a passenger conductor, honored alike of
both patrons and officials of the road. He is survived by three children,

Age 52, of Elmira, NY. She was born May 9, 1956 in Walterburke, SC, daughter of
the late Willie and Ernestine (Henderson) Jones and died Thursday, June 5,
2008, unexpectedly at home. She was predeceased by her parents and grandson,
Christopher Williams and is survived by her daughter, Stacey L. Williams (Cecil
Highsmith) of Marianna, FL; son, Alfred Lee Jones of GA; beloved grandson, whom
she raised, DeShawn Williams of Horseheads, NY; granddaughter, LaMayah
Williams; grandsons, LaMarcus Williams and Carlton Smith, Jr.; sister, Florie
Jones; brothers, Troy, Billy, Ronnie and Joe Jones; along with a host of
nieces, nephews and godchildren. Louise was employed at Notre Dame High School;
became an Associate of the Sisters of Mercy in 2003; was a member of
Pennsylvania Ave. United Methodist Church, sang in the choir and helped with
the food cupboard there. She was especially proud of her nephew, TJ, who
received a scholarship to Notre Dame High School as a result of Louise's

JOSEPH George
Age 92, of Elmira, NY died, Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at St. Joseph's
Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. George was the son of John and
Amelia Ward Joseph. He was predeceased by daughter Kathleen M. Onofre, sisters,
Mary Williams, Adele Herrick and Jeanette Blampied, nephew, Willis E. Williams,
Jr., and niece, Mary Ann Vicario. George was a loving husband, father and
grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mamie Aitchison Joseph;
son and daughter-in-law, John T. and Karon Joseph of Benson NC; daughter and
son-in-law, Jeanette E. and Joseph M. Capece of Elmira; son-in-law, Nicholas A.
Onofre of Waverly; grandchildren, Christopher M. Onofre, George E. Joseph and
Alex B. Joseph all of North Carolina; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Helen
and William Batrowny of Elmira; several nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
George was a 1937 graduate of EFA. He enlisted in the Army Air Force in 1940
and served with the 8th Air Force through WW II. He was involved with air
campaigns in North Africa, Normandy, Northern France, and Rhineland. He flew 25
missions in a B17 Bomber. Upon returning to Elmira from WW II, George worked
for several years at Remington Rand before going to work as a fireman with the
City of Elmira in 1953. He retired in 1981 with 28 years of distinguished
service. In 1979 George was named Elmira's "Fireman of the Year."
George had many interests and the most important was his family with whom he
cherished their times together. He was an outstanding athlete and enjoyed a
life long involvement in sports. He played on the 1935 Championship EFA
football team, and was an active participant in several sporting activities
even at the age of 80. George also looked forward to planting and tending to
his vegetable garden every year. The Joseph family would like to extend their
heartfelt thanks to Micki Seymour and Joan Granger for the loving care they
provided to our husband and father. Friends are invited to McInerny Funeral

Pine City: Was born August 22, 1924 in South Auburn, PA, the daughter of the late Edgar and Jennie (Ace) Judson, was ushered by angels to be with her Lord on Friday, April 13, 2012 with her family at her side at St. Joseph's Hospital. Her brother, Reuben Judson and sister Bernice Tillinghast preceded her in death. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 57 years, Joseph A. Long; adored son, Phil G. Alice Jurusik, Age 47, of Elmira, died at her home on Sunday, September 16,
2007, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Alice was born December 9,

she is survived by her husband of 21 years, Patrick D. "Pete" Kane,

Douglas Logan of Maryland, with children, Russell and Caitlin; father-in-law
