It is supposed to be the NY 38th Volunteers enrolled at Horseheads and mustered in at East New York on June 8, 1861. They became Co. I of 38th NY Volunters. My great great grandfather, sort of identified, is George Willis "Will" Mallory of Sullivanville, Veteran Twp., Chemung Co., NY. The photo was found in a metal box of Maggie May READY Bronson, granddaughter of Will, after her death.
