Johnson-Williston
Last Wednesday afternoon at one o’clock a small company of relatives and intimate friends witnessed the marriage of Miss Carrie D. Williston and Mr. G. B. Johnson at the home of Mrs. L. P. Williston, on Central avenue in this borough.  The house was brilliantly lighted and tastefully decorated with similax and cut flowers.  Rev. Horace Williston, of Candor, NY, a cousin of the bride, read the Episcopal marriage service.  The handsome bride was attired in a beautiful dress of white faille francaise, and she carried a bouquet of white roses.  After the congratulations had been offered and the wedding-breakfast served, Mr. and Mrs. Johnson left for the northbound train amid a shower of good wishes, rice and the traditional old slippers and other compliments.  Mr. and Mrs. Johnson expect to spend a fortnight in New York city, and upon their return they will begin housekeeping on Central avenue.  The bride received a large number of very handsome and useful presents.  (Tuesday, March 20, 1888, The Wellsboro Agitator, Wellsboro, Tioga Co, Pa.)

Watkins, NY, March 16, 1888.--The nuptials of Seth O. Daggett, of Wellsboro, Pa., and Miss Jessie E. Brown were celebrated in a quiet and happy manner last Wednesday evening, March 14, 1888, at eight o’clock at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Brown, of this place.  Rev. B. K.
