The marriage vow has been given and received.  Upon the sea of matrimony our young friends have launched their barque.  Their voyage down the current of life has begun with fair winds and gentle breezes, mutual happiness and social gratulations.  As time wafts them onward, and the sea roughens and squalls come upon them, may the genial influences of patience and prudence induce a serenity of mind to meet the tempests of cares and contentions which too often reach the young adventurers.  Our friends have started out with a buoyancy of spirit, and prospect of happiness which indicate no coming evil.  Suited to each other, may they ever enjoy the full fruition which mortals e’er attain; and may peace and plenty strew their path, so that when their journey is ended, and they part on earth, they may meet in that clysium where their union shall be one and eternal.  (Thursday, January 8, 1852, Tioga Eagle, Wellsboro, Tioga Co, Pa.)
