Hi Joyce, The Oak Ridge Hotel was located where Oakridge Park is on 14th street across from Pierces  restaurant. I believe it was gone before 1920, not sure. Marion

Hi! I think you have done a wonderful job with your site over the years. I wanted to let you know on the oakridge hotel here is some information I had gotten from one of the historical societies books. The Oakridge Hotel was built April 1st 1894 and was constructed for $15,000 ($15,000 was a lot in those days). The hotel was 4 stories high and consisted of 56 rooms, a bar, outside pavilion (used for dancing and so on), and a barn outback used for cock fights. In 1916 the Oakridge hotel had burnt down and had to be demolished. In 1920 the land was dedicated as Oakridge park.
