AUGUST 20, 1932

The first annual reunion of the descendents of Bird Bell and Estella Page York was held at the York homestead in Sullivan Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania on August 20, 1932. There were 29 friends & relatives served dinner.

AUGUST 19, 1933

The second annual reunion of the descendents of Bird Bell and Estella Page York was held at the York Homestead in Sullivan Twsp., Tioga County, Pennsylvania on August 19, 1933.
 

Dinner was served to 43 relatives and friends.
 

After dinner Mrs. Daisy Blair called a meeting to elect officers for the following year.
 

Those elected were:

President - Warren York

Vice Pres. - Mrs. Daisy York Blair

Sec’y & Treas. - Mrs. Ruby York Lanterman
 

The following were elected to act on Program Committee

Abel Blair, chairman

Ralph York

Mrs. Ralph York

Mrs. Warren York
 

The motion was made and carried that all prizes gotten by Program Committee not to exceed 10¢ each. The motion was made and carried to hold the next reunion at the same place on the third Saturday in August 1934. The motion was made and carried to have the same amount of ice-cream next year as this, namely, 5 gallons.
 

Collections taken up and all bills presented for payment. Meeting adjourned.

The third annual reunion of the descendents of Bird Bell and Estella Page York was held at the York Homestead in Sullivan Twsp., Tioga County, Pennsylvania and August 18, 1934.

Dinner was served to 51 relatives and friends.

After dinner a meeting was called by the President, Warren York. The minutes of last year and the Treas. report were read and approved.

Officers for next year were elected as follows:

Pres. - Warren R. York

V. Pres. - Daisy Y. Blair

Sec’y-Treas. - Ruby Y. Lanterman

The following were appointed by the President to act on Program & Sports Committees for next year:

Larry Lanterman

The motion was made and carried to have reunion at the same place on the third Saturday in August 1935. The motion was made and carried to have same amount (5 gals.) of ice cream next year and James Theoharous was appointed by the President to see about getting same. Julia Theoharous was appointed to get paper for the tables, paper plates, cups and ice cream dishes. The motion was made & carried to hire girl to help Mother for a week each year, to get ready for the reunion. Collection was taken up, all bills presented and approved. After the meeting the Program Committee gave a very interesting program. Pictures were taken.

Meeting adjourned.

Dinner was served to 53 relatives and friends.

After dinner a meeting was called by the President Warren York.

The minutes of last year and the Treas. report were read and approved.

Officers for next year were elected as follows:

The President appointed the following to act on Sports Committee for next year:

The motion was made and carried to have reunion at same place next year. A standing motion was made and carried to have reunion the third Saturday in August each year.

James Theoharous was appointed to get ice cream (5 gal.) next year. Julia Theoharous was appointed to get paper plates, cups, napkins and ice cream dishes, for next year.

Collection was taken up. All bills presented and approved.

After the meeting the Program Committee gave a very interesting program. Pictures were taken.

The fifth annual reunion of the descendents of Bird Bell and Estella Page York was held at the York Homestead in Sullivan Twp., Tioga County, Pennsylvania on August 17, 1936.

Thirty three relatives and friends attended. After dinner a meeting was called by the President, Warren York. The minutes of last year and the Treas. report were read & accepted.

Officers for next year were elected as follows:

Sec’y & Treas. - Ruby Lanterman

The following were appointed by the President to act on Program Committees for next year:

The motion was made and approved to have the reunion at the York Homestead each year as long as Mother & Dad were able to have it. Warren York agreed to see about ice cream for next reunion. Daisy Blair was appointed to get all the paper dishes needed. Collection was taken up, bills presented and approved. After the meeting everyone enjoyed a very interesting Program. Meeting adjourned.
