I WILLIAM A. MCCLURE of the township of Rutland in the county of Tioga and State of Pennsylvania being of sound mind memory and understanding do make and publish this my last will and testament, hereby making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made...

Item. [I give] to my son SHEFF MCCLURE my farm (No. 1) situate in the township of Jackson in the county of Tioga and State of Penna upon which he now resides and described as being the same lot conveyed to me by GEORGE R. COREY & wife by deed dated the 26th day of September 1883 and recorded in said County of Tioga in Book No. 73 page 283 October 1st. 1883. Also all the personal property of whatsoever kind and nature that I have put upon said farm for his use to have & to hold the same to him his heirs and assigns forever.

Item. [I give] to my son JAY MCCLURE and to his heirs and assigns forever my farm No. 2 situate in the township of Jackson in the county of Tioga & State of Penna upon which he now resides and described as being the same farm conveyed to me by H.S. MCKEAN & wife and ELECTA MCKEAN by deed dated the 30th day of March 1889 and recorded in deed book No. 92 page 204 the 18th day of November 1890. Also all personal property [etc., as above].

Item. [I give] to my son LORENZO MCCLURE & to his heirs and assigns forever my farm No. 3 situate in the town of Rutland in said County & upon which he & myself now resides and said farm No. 3 to include twenty five acres off from the North side of the farm conveyed to me by J.D. VEDDER & wife by deed dated September 14th, 1866 and recorded in Book No. 39 page 236, etc. the 28 day of January 1867, it being all the land I own North of said line running through the VEDDER farm East & West to obtain the said twenty five acres. Also I give to my said son LORENZO MCCLURE his heirs & assigns my lot conveyed to me by JOHN NEWBERRY & wife by deed dated the 15th day of April 1872 & recorded in book No. 50 page 488...

Item. My farm No. 4 in Rutland township lying both sides of the road leading from Roseville to Austinville or Mill Creek road & being the balance of my real estate in Rutland township I dispose of the same [I give] my said farm No. 4 to LORENZO MCCLURE & to his heirs and assigns forever provided he shall during the time my wife JULIA M. MCCLURE shall remain my widow pay unto her annually a fair compensation for the use of said farm after paying all taxes, insurance, repairs, etc. And at the expiration of the claim of my wife JULIA M. MCCLURE to the use of said farm No. 4 he shall pay unto SHEFF MCCLURE the sum of Ten hundred dollars ($1000.) and shall pay unto JAY MCCLURE the sum of one thousand dollars.

Item. [I give] my beloved wife JULIA MCCLURE the use of farm No. 4 as stated in the provision heretofore made in giving said farm to my son Lorenzo. I also give to my said wife all my household goods for her own use and benefit. I also give to my said wife one thousand dollars in money at my death if not paid to her before my decease.

And further I direct that my three sons shall be jointly bound to provide a suitable home and care in health & in sickness for my wife JULIA M. MCCLURE wherever she may choose as long as she remains my widow. I also direct my three sons to do all business & take care of her property and assist her in all ways they see fit free of any charge or expense to her. I not owing one dollar to any man at this date the money left at my decease after paying all debts and expenses I direct to be equally divided between my three sons Sheff, Jay & Lorenzo McClure . Executors: SHEFF MCCLURE, JAY MCCLURE & LORENZO MCCLURE; 28th day of February, 1901.
