This Indenture made the Sixth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred & thirty nine Between Pierre Joseph DeCaters, of the City of Antwerp in the kingdom of Belgium in Europe and Jeanne Antomethe Ergo? His wife and Samuel Ball Sen. Of the township of Litchfield County of Bradford and State of Pennsylvania of the second part. Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of Sixty Nine & 65/100 Dollars lawful money of the United States to their hands paid by the party of the second part at & before the ensealing and Delivery hereof the receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge and there of acquit and forever discharge the said party of the second part, his heirs Executors, administrators and assigns and by these presents have granted bargained sold - - - -? and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell - - - -? and confirm unto the said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns all that Certain Lot, piece or parcel of Land lying and being in the Township of Litchfield, County & State afore said and bounded as follows: Beginning at a post & Stones fifteen Boas? & Seacutan? & 2/10 perches South from Samuel Ball Sn’r, J. E. corner as the lot was formerly run out for John Roger thence South Eighty Three and one third perches to a post for a corner a Rock or A 14 8/13 links marked for a Witness Thence West forty eight perches to a post and stones for a corner thence North eighty - -? & 1/3 perches to a post thence East forty eight perches to the Beginning. Containing twenty five acres Strict measure be the same or a little more or less Together with all and Singular the rights, liberties, privilages and appertinances whatsoever therewith belonging or in any wise appertaining and therewith. Etc. etc. etc.
