WILL & TESTAMENT 3892, OF JULIUS BAILEY
I Julius Bailey of Granville Township in the County of Bradford and
State of Pennsylvania being of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding
do make and publish this my last will and testament lacking nothing and
making void all former wills by me at any time made. Item I give and bequeath
unto my daughters Annas Viletta Drake and Mehitable Churchill and to my
son Edward S. Bailey the following sums to be paid by my executor hereafter
named out of the policy of Insurance of one thousand dollars on my life
in the Mahony Insurance Company . To said Annas Viletta Drake the sum of
seven hundred dollars. To said Mahitable Churchill the sum of seventy five
dollars and to said Edward S. Bailey the sum of five dollars or if for
any cause said insurance shall not be paid the sum of $700.30 to come out
of my estate the seven hundred to Annis Viletta Drake to be paid three
hundred dollars at my death and one hundred dollars each there after for
four years with interest annually. Item I give and bequeath unto my son
Jefferson T. Bailey all that certain mortgage lot price or parcel of land
situated in said Granville Township bounded on the north by lands of John
Vroman , on the east by lands of Norman Bailey, and on the south and west
by public highway containing fifty one acres of land more or less with
house , two barns, corn house , cider mill, and other out buildings thereon.
Also all the other lot, or parcels of land situated in said Granville Township
bounded on the north by lands of Julius Gee on the east by public highway
north by public highway and on the east by lands of Amos Wilcox containing
nine and three quarter acres of land more or less to have and to hold unto
the said Jefferson T. Bailey the said two tracts of land unto him
and his heirs forever and it is hereby enforcibly directed will the above
devise unto Jefferson T. Bailey is upon conditions that he shall pay all
of my funeral expenses the cost of administering upon my estate and all
just debts which I may at the time of my decease and upon the further condition
that the said choice shall sufficiently support maintain clothe and keep
my wife Sarah S. Bailey during her natural life and at her decease pay
all of her funeral expenses. And lastly I nominate and appoint D. Baxter
to be sole executor of this my last will and testament . I Julius Bailey
to this my last will and testament on a sheet of paper have subscribed
my name and affixed my seal the twenty first day of February one thousand
eight hundred and eighty four.

Signed sealed inscribed by said Julius Bailey as his last will and
testament at his bequest and in his presence and in the presence of each
other have subscribed our names as witnesses. (proof having been made that
the said Julius Bailey died on this 7th day of May AD 1884)To Probate--May
21, 1884.
