In the name of God, Amen. I Thomas Baldwin of the Town of Athens, County Lycoming, and State of Pensylvania being weak in body but of sound mind and memory and having the uncertainty of this mortal life, do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following-
Imprimus- I give and bequeath my Soul into the hand of God whensoever it may please him to call me from the mortal to an immortal state and my body to be interd at the discretion of my executors herein after named, nothing doubting but that I shall receive it from my mercifull Redeemer at the Resurection in whom I confide for an everlasting redemption through His Blood__
As for my worldly goods I give and bequeath in the manner following, requesting my executors herein after named, most punctually, and in as much as in them each to perform, Do divide, distribute and settle acording to the devise herein made and intended for the Good benefit and behoof as well as the peace of the devisee herein mentioned.
1st- I give and bequeath unto my dearly beloved wife, Mary Baldwin all and singular my Houshold Furniture of every description for her use, benefit and behoof during her life and then to be at her own disposal to do with as she may think proper.
2nd- Be it known that my will and meaning is that my executors herinafter named, do hereby faithfully and punctually attend to the discharge of all my Just Debts, as well as collecting a number that are standing out in the easiest and best manner they can, leaving it wholly at their discretion to persue the (—) they may think most eligible and best for the purpose of making an honorable settlement with all whom it may be necessary and after settling and ajusting all my accounts the remainder, if any there be to be divided in the following manner, that is to say amongst my Five Sons Thomas Baldwin Jnr, Vine Baldwin, George Baldwin, Isaac Baldwin and Morgan Baldwin to be equally divided between them at the discretion of my executors herein after named, and to my Three Daughters, Ency Depuy Five Dollars, to Mira Covel One Hundred Dollars and to Hannah Baldwin one Hundred and Fifty Dollars to be paid to them by my executors within Two Years after my decease_
3rd- And furthermore my Will and Meaning is that my Dear beloved Wife Mary Baldwin be provided with a comfortable House to live in, either where I now live, or in the House I have formerly ocupied on the farm I now own lying in Chemung twsp, Tioga County and the State of New York where my sons Thomas Baldwin and Vine Baldwin now lives, where she can live for the purpose of bringing up my Daughter Hannah Baldwin and my Son Morgan Baldwin and I further give my Wife Mary Baldwin two milch cows, Six Sheep for her support and for the support of my Son and Daughter and I further give for the use of my Wife and bringing up and Education of my Son and Daughter after all my Debts are settled and paid off by my Executors the one third of all the rents that may arise from my Two farms that is to say The Farm that Thomas and Vine Baldwin now occupy and the Farm that I now live on together including the Saw Mill and the Grist Mill that now Stand on the same. The one third of all the rents that may arise on the above, or if they should be sold, then the one third of the Interest of the money that may arise from such Sale for the uses and purposes as above Stated, and after here Death to be divided between my Five Sons herein before named , which one third is to be considered the third the Law gives my aforesaid wife Mary, and I hereby enjoin it on my Executors herein after named to see to the above divises that they are Punctually attended to, -and whereas there are General Articles of Farming utensils and Cattle, Hogs etc., too tedious to mention I would reccommedn to my Executors that a Speedy Sale should be made of them which may assist them in paying off the Debts that may be due from the Estate.
And I do hereby make constitute and appoint my two Sons Thomas Baldwin Jnr and Vine Baldwin and Isaac Baldwin my brother Executors of this my last Will and Testament and I do will that they take peculiar care of my son Morgan Baldwin and my daughter Hannah Baldwin and see to their bringing up, and Education, and that all divisions be by them justly and honestly made in peace, and revoking all other and former bequests Wills and Testaments I declare this to be my last Will and Testament this eleventh day of January in the Year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and Ten__________
Signed Sealed Published Pronounced and declared by the Testator who in his presence in the room where he then was and in the presence of each other and of his request did hereunto set our hands a witnesses to the Same that in our Presence he did Lawfully Sign, Seal and declare the same to be his Last Will and Testament.

State of New York-- Be it remembered that on the eighteen day of March
in the Year of our Lord one Thousand Eight hundred and Eleven Personally
appeared before me Robert Lawrence Esq. Surrogate of the County of Tioga
Henry Wells one of the Subscribing Witnesses to the last will and testament
of Thomas Baldwin, late of the Town of Athens, County of Lycoming and State
of Pennsylvania deceased, who being by me duly Sworn did depose and say
that he was present and did see the said Thomas Baldwin Sign and Seal the
said Instrument of writing and at the same time heard him publish and Pronounce
in the presence also of Matthew Riggs the other Subscribing Witness to
the said Will and that he together with the said Matthew Riggs Subscribed
their names as Witnesses thereto in the presence of the Testaor and of
each other And that the said Testator at the time of the Execution thereof
appeared to him to be of sound mind and memory. Robert Lawrence, Surrogate
