Cheradavaine Johnny (Apr. or May, 1859 Jun. 5, 1863 4y1m Son of Robert and Maria Cherdavaine (The spelling of the surname as it appears on the tombstone which was found in a debris filled corner of the cemetery. It was dug out of the ground under rotted leaves, tree limbs, and stones.)

Cherdavoine Walter (Mar. 1, 1837) Apr. 22, 1864 27y1m21d Co I, 141st Reg. , ? Vol. (A stark white tombstone which es badly eroded and broken into four pieces. A steel post has been driven into the ground and a thick wooden plank attached. The pieces of the marker are held to the plank with rusted wire.
          One crack is through the military service line and is almost impossible to read. A heavy coating of chalk was applied and the data carefully studied by 2 individuals.)
