Joyce's Search Tip - December 2007 - Do You Know that you can search just the Bradford County Cemetery Records on the site by using the Cemeteries -Bradford button in the Partitioned search engine at the bottom of the Current What's New Page? If you use that partition follow these steps to search just one cemetery.  1. Choose Cemeteries - Bradford.  2. Enter part of the cemetery name [ie Ballard or Berrytown] AND a surname. 3. Choose the Find ALL Words option. Then it will find just the pages with that surname in the one cemetery you indicated.  See also - Bradford County Cemetery Addresses

Directions to cemetery:  from South Litchfield Cemetery continue over the hill .2 mile; turn right on Arnold Rd.; continue 1 mile; turn left on West Rd.; continue one-half mile.  Cemetery is on the left up a hill; house in front in poor condition; barn across the road.  The cemetery was in poor condition when above listing made in mid 1970's.  There were more graves than this listing shows, but the above is all that I could read.

Notes:  Line 1:  Miles Coykendall is s/o John and Elizabeth Kirkendall--1850 Census Bradford Co., Litchfield Twp., pg. 204.
           Line 12:  Frances A. Van Duzor identified as Frances Averly on Jonathan Van Duzor son LeGrand's death certificate.  She was 2nd wife; LeGrand b of 1st wife.
           Line 14:  Mary M. Van Duzor identified as Mary Kirkendale on son Alvin's death certificate.  Mary's granddaughter gives birth date as 10 Nov 1830; death date 19 Sept. 1878 on application to DAR.  Mary was Jonathan's 3rd wife.
