PAUL F. LANDIS
Paul F. Landis, 65, of Mercur Hill, Wysox RR 2, PA died Monday, August 19, 1996 at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre. Born May 21, 1931 in Lower Salford Township, Montgomery County, PA, he was the son of the late Henry M. and Katie Frederick Landis. He operated a farm in Wysox Township with his wife Doris who proceeded him in death on June 24, 1996. Paul was a member of the West Franklin Mennonite Church. Surviving are his children and their spouses, Paul F. and Rose Landis Jr. of Dundee, NY, Gerald and Linda Landis of Troy, PA, Stanford and Regina Landis of Reinholds, PA; Walter and Maria Landis of McGaheysville, VA, Phyllis and David Wait of Wysox, Doris and John Fenninger of New Holland, PA, Frederick and Cathy Jo Landis of Leola, PA and Katie E. Landis at home; 26 grandchildren, two sisters and six brothers; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Sheila Joy Landis in 1993 and by an infant brother in 1925. Funeral services were held at the Maryott-Bowen Funeral Home in Towanda on August 23 with the Rev. Richard Martin officiating and interment to be in Landis Cemetery, Wysox Township, PA.
