This is a photo of a barn raising in East Point on Samuel Harer property.
The first barn burned. It is probably about 1905-6 as the little boy on
the ladder is Lloyd Harer and he was born in 1901. Also the woman
on right in the doorway is Sophia Roupp Harer with young girl being Rossie
Harer. Sophia is grandmother to my husband Lyle. Probably Robert is there
also but not certain which one. It has taken a long time to identify any
of these folks, but we finally did some.
This photo has floated around the Liberty area & also in Wisconsin
but no one knew for certain who it was but with the help of other cousins
we were able to identify a couple. Perhaps others can identify more. Hope
so
