Note - The birth entvy for Leman Buchanan was Leman Stephen Cory son of David and Mary Jane Bowman Cory. Leman was under one year of age when his mother died and he was taken into the household of hms aunt Margaret Bowman Buchanan and raised by her in early life. Leman retained the Cory name.
