SMITH, Cora May - Mrs. Cora May Tice, 73, died Saturday, May 22, 1943, at the Blossburg State Hospital. She had been a resident of Sullivan Township nearly all of her life until the past few years spent in Mansfield. She was a member of the old Mansfield Church on Rutland Hill. Surviving are two daughters, Miss Bertha Tice, at home, and Mrs. Abbie Fone, of Horseheads; four sons, Harry Tice, of Canton; Lee, of Mansfield; Philip, of Troy, and Earl, of Mansfield, and a sister, Mrs. Maude Newell, of Troy. Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 25, at the Elk Run Methodist Church, the Rev. Fred I. Smith officiating. Burial in Gray Valley Cemetery. - Mansfield Advertiser, 2 June 1943, p.8
