Marriage and Christmas bells chimed in merry accord at the home of Mr.
& Mrs. Thomas Orr, in Delmar, yesterday. The Occasion was the marriage
of their love daughter, Kate E. [Orr], to Mr. William D. Wilcox, son of
Mr. J.D. Wilcox, of Delmar. Some thirty or more guests were present, selected
from the near relatives and friends of the bride and groom. The marriage
vows were solemnized at 12 o'clock by Rev. James A. Boyce. Choice presents
were given. An excellent and bountiful repast was served. After dinner
the happy couple - escorted by many of their friends - departed for Wellsboro,
where they took the afternoon train for a visit among friends in Elmira,
NY.
