DEWEY-AUSTIN WEDDING
Ulysses, June 8---At the Baptist parsonage in Ulysses on Saturday night
June 5, Rev. N. Johnstone united in marriage Prof. Carl L. Dewey and Miss Leah
M. Austin. Both these young people are of families resident in Charleston
and are very highly respected. For the last two years Mr. Dewey has been
vocational instructor in the Lewisville (Ulysses) Vocational High School and has
won for himself the respect and esteem of all who have come in contact with him
both for his personality and highly efficient work in the school. The
bride, too, is well known and highly respected among us. Mr. Dewey has
contracted for another term in the Ulysses school and consequently the happy
couple will make their home in Ulysses. They have the best wishes of a
