Adolph VanDuzor of Erin, Chemung Co.
Written 17 May 1843
I Adolph VanDuzor in the town of Erin do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following, viz. I give and bequeath to my Daughter Deborah Kuykendall the sum of five dollars, the rest of my estate must be equally divided among my other eight children, viz. Martha Ball, Sarah Horton, Obed VanDuzor, Benjamin VanDuzor, Betsey Teed, Samuel VanDuzor, Julia F. Norris, and Hiram VanDuzor, I also give and bequeath to my son Hiram VanDuzor my horse, waggon and harness, I give and bequeath to my grandson, Adolph VanDuzor my silver watch which is to be left in care of his Father Hiram VanDuzor until he is of age.
I nominate, constitute and appoint Obed VanDuzor and Hiram VanDuzor executors of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all other and former Wills, by me at any time heretofore made. I ordain my executors to sell my farm containing four hundred and seventy nine acres, and the money to be disposed of as above stated, after paying all my just debts and funeral charges. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the seventeenth day of May in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and forty three. Signed sealed published and declared by the said testator Adolph VanDuzor as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto, in the presence of the said testator.
