Will of David G. Edwards
Died in Charleston, Tioga County, PA. at his residence
6th day of October, 1879
No1572 Tioga County, PA
In the Name of God Amen. I David G. Edwards of the Township of Charleston in the county of Tioga and State of Pennsylvania being of sound mind and memory and Considering the uncertainty of this frail and tranqutory life do therefore make ordain publish and declare this to be my last will and Testament that is to say. First after all my Lawfull debts are paid and discharged the residue of my Estate Real and Personal I give and bequeath and dispose of as follows to wit: to my beloved wife Elizabeth Edwards all of my estate Real and personal, during the time of her Natural life And I will and ordain that she maintain and Educate my Children according to the means left her till they are of age And at her Death (Provided the Children are all of age) I will and ordain that all my Estate be divided between my Children share and share alike. But if any or all of them are miners at her Death I ordain that the Estate be under the management of the Executors hereafter named till they are of age.
Like wise I make constitute and appoint my wife Elizabeth and my son Thomas to be executors of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former will by me made
In Witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal the Twenty sixth day of August in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight hundred and seventy

The above written instrument was subscribed by the said David G Edwards in our presence and acknowledged by him to each of un And he at the same time published and declared the above instrument so subscribed to be his last will and testament. And we at the testators request and in his presence have signed our names as witnesses hereto and written opposite our names our respective places of residence
