** Researcher note by Susan A. Perry:
The reference to " John Hill (son) residing in the County of Newaygo, State of Michigan." is in error. It was Sackett’s son, Thomas Hill, that moved to Michigan and settled in Newaygo County. Sackett’s son, John, resided in New York his entire lifetime. Obviously, Sackett did not have two sons named John; son John was mentioned earlier in the same paragraph "John Hill (son), Andrew Hill (son), and Eliza Fredenburg (daughter) all residing in the town of Van Etten, Chemung County and State of New York " .
