Last Will and Testament 945 of Thomas E. Parsons late of Troy Deceased.
I Thomas E. Parsons of the Township of Troy County of Bradford and State
of Pennsylvania, do make & publish this my last will and testament
hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time heretofore made.
And first I direct that my body be decently interned under the direction
of my Executor hereinafter named, and that my funeral be conducted in a
manner corresponding with my Estate and Situation in life, And as to such
worldly Estate as it hath pleased God to instruct me I dispose of the same
as follows,
First. I direct that all my debts and funeral expenses be paid as soon after my decease as possible out of the first money that shall come into the hands on my executor from any portion of my personal estate.
Second. I give devise and bequeath unto my sister Mary Parsons the one equal undivided half part of all that certain piece of parcel of lands situate lying and being in the Township of Franklin County of Delaware and State of New York being part of subdivision lots No. 2738 in great lot No. 12 in the Whitsborough Patent and bounded as follows viz,
Beginning at a stone placed in the ground on the side of the highway near the wagon house at the south easterly corner of west No. 7 and running thence north sixty degrees east two chains thence south thirty degrees east 12 chains and fifty links thence north sixty degrees east nine chains seventy two links thence north thirty degrees west forty four chains and fifty one links to the lands of Wm. A. Miller thence south sixty degrees west twenty chains and eighty one links thence south thirty degrees east thirty one chains and fifty one links thence north sixty degrees east two chains & seventy five links to the place of Beginning containing by estimate Seventy five Acres of land be the same more or less, it being the same lot of land conveyed by Thomas Parsons to his son Thomas E. Parsons and his Daughter Mary Parsons by deed dated the 30th day of November 1848,
To have and to hold the one equal undivided half of the above described
lot of land with the appurtenance with the said Mary Parsons her heirs
and assigns to & for the use of the said Mary Parsons her heirs and
assigns forever.
Also I give devise and bequeath with the said Mary Parsons the one
individual half of all that other piece or parcel of land joining the above
described lot of land "Called the Saw Mill lot containing about five Acres
of land being the same lot conveyed to Thomas Parsons by Daniel B. Waterman
on the 21st day of Nov. 1804 and conveyed by the said Thomas Parsons to
the said Thomas E. Parsons and Mary Parsons by and dated the 30th day of
Nov. 1848, As above to have and to hold the one equal undivided half part
of the above described lot of land with the appurtenance with the said
Mary Parsons her heirs and assigns forever.
Third. I do hereby make ordain constitute and appoint my
brother Alfred Parsons my Executor of this my last will & testament
hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time heretofore made and
do declare this to be my last will and testament.
In witness whereof I the said Thomas E. Parsons have to this my last
will and testament set my hand and seal this thirteenth day of October
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty three.

This writing contained in this sheet was signed & sealed by the
above named Thomas E. Parsons and by him published & declared as &
for his last will and testament in the presence of us who have hereunto
subscribed our names in his presence and in the presence of each other.
