Now this Indenture Witnesseth, that the said John F. Donaldson as well for and in consideration of the aforesaid debt or sum of Seven Hundred and Twenty Five Dollars and for the better securing the payment of the same with interest unto the said Israel W. Morris, his Executors Administrators and assigns, in discharge of the said recited obligation as for and in consideration of the further sum of one dollar unto him in hand well and truly paid by the said Israel W. Morris hath granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released and confirmed, and by these presents doth grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release and confirm unto the said Israel W. Morris, his heirs and assigns, All that certain Tract or Piece of Land Situate in the County of Tioga and state of Pennsylvania, aforesaid being butted and bounded as follows, to wit, Beginning at a Sugar Tree a corner of Land now or late of Samuel W. Morris then East Seventy two perches to a post, thence by Land now or formerly of Casper W. Morris, South One Hundred and Thirty eight perches to an Elm, thence West sixty four perches and three tenths to a post a corner of Land now or formerly of Jacob Duryea, thence North three quarters of a degree West eighty one perches to a Beech another corner of said Land of Jacob Duryea, thence West One hundred and thirty six perces to a post a corner of land now or formerly of Isaac W. Morris then North One hundred and thirty two perches to a Beech in the line of the aforesaid Land now or formerly of Samuel W. Morris, thence South Seventy Six perches to the place of the beginning. Containing One hundred sixty five Acres.. Strict measure. ( Which said Tract or Piece of Land, above described the said Israel W. Morris by Indenture bearing even date herewith duly executed and acknowledged immediately before these Presents, and intended forthwith to be Recorded according to Law, for the Consideration Money therein mentioned, part whereof is hereby secured, granted and conveyed unto the said John F. Donaldson in fee )
Together with all and singular the Buildings ,Woods ,Roads ,Lanes, Ways, Waters, Water-Courses, Rights, Liberties, Privileges, Improvements, Hereditaments, and Appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining, and the Reversions and Remainders, Rents, Issues, and Profits thereof~~~
To Have and to Hold the said Tract or Piece of Land herein above described Hereditaments and Premises hereby granted, or mentioned so to be with the Appurtenances unto the said Israel W. Morris his Heirs and Assigns , to the only proper use and behoof of the said Israel W. Morris his Heirs and Assigns forever.
Provided always, nevertheless, that if the said John F. Donaldson his Heirs Executors Administratorsor Assigns, do and shall well and truly pay, or cause to be paid, unto the said Israel W. Morris his Executors Administrators or Assigns, the aforesaid debt or sum of Seven Hundred twenty five Dollars such as above said, in Installments on the day and herein before mentioned and appointed for payment of the same, together with lawful interest a s aforesaid, without and fraud or further delay, and without any deduction, defalcation, or abatement to be made of any thing, for or in respect of ant taxes, charges, or assessments whatsoever, that then, and from thenceforth, as well this present Indenture, and the Estate hereby granted, as the said recited Obligation - shall cease, determine, and become void, any thing herein before contained to the contrary thereof, in any wise notwithstanding.
In Witness whereof, the said Parties have hereunto interchangeably set their Hands and Seals the Day and Year first written above~~~

Donaldson and acknowledged the above written Indenture of Mortgage to be his act and Deed and desired the same as such might be Recorded according to Law. Witness my hand and Seal this Sixth Day of February 1844
