 This Indenture, made the seventeenth of December in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and twenty five between Robert Mitchel of the Township of Lawrence County of Tioga and State of Pennsylvania of the first part and Richard Mitchel of the Township of Tioga and County 
and State aforesaid of the second part, Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred Dollars of good and lawful money of the United States to him in hand paid by said party of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby Confessed and acknowledged hath granted bargained sold remind, released aliened and confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain Sell remin releas alien and confirmed unto the said party of the second part in his actual possession now being and to his heirs and assigns forever All that Certain Lot tract piece or parcel of Land situated on the Tioga River in the Township of Tioga and County of Tioga and State aforesaid and Butted and Bounded as follows; viz, Beginning at a post on the Bank of the River Tioga then south fifty Degrees East by the Land of John Inscho forty perches to a post thence North Thirty five Degrees East — Eight Perches and Eight links to a post then North fifty Degrees West thirty Nine perches to a post on the Bank of the River thence up said River to the place of Beginning Containing two Acres of ground be the same more or Less, It being part of a Larger tract of piece of Land patented by the State Pennsylvania to Samuel Westbrook of the of the Township of Tioga and County and State Aforesaid bearing Date the Eleventh Day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and fifteen and of the Commonwealth the fortyeth Enrolled in Patent Book R Vol 11 Page 675 by the said Samuel Westbrook bargained granted Sold, Released, Conveyed and Confirmed by a Deed Bearing Date March the Ninth in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and twenty one to the said Robert Mitchel his heirs and assigns forever Together with all and singular the houses out houses Buildings barns stables woods ways water Courses Rights Liberties Privileges appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining and Also all Estate right title interest on possession Claim or Demand of him the said Robert Mitchel of in or to the same to have and to hold the said piece or parcel of Land heriditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned to be granted with the appurtenances unto the said Richard Mitchel his heirs and assigns and to the only proper use benefit and behoof of him the said Richard Mitchel his heirs and assigns forever And the said Robert Mitchel and Abigail Mitchel his wife for themselves and their heirs do hereby Covenant promis and grant to and with the said Richard Mitchel and his heirs and assigns by these presents that they the Said Robert and Abigail Mitchel and their heirs the said described lot or piece of Land heraditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned to be granted with the appurtenances unto the said Richard Mitchel his heirs and assigns against them the said Robert and Abigail Mitchel and their heirs and assigns And against all and every other person or persons whatsoever lawfully Claiming or to Claim by from or under them or any of them or any other person or persons shall or will warrant and by these presents forever Defend In Witness whereof the said parties to these presents inter Changably set their hands and Seals the Day and year first above written
Robert Mitchel (Seal) Abigail Mitchel (Seal) Signed sealed and Delivered in the presence of us Seventeen Perches to a Post in line Seventeen Erased before Signing S M Dougall Joseph Mudge State of Pennsylvania Tioga County Be it remembered that on the seventeenth Day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and twenty five personally appeared before me Samuel McDugall one of the Justices of the Peace in and for Tioga County aforesaid the within named Robert Mitchel and Abigail his wife known to me to be the same persons that Executed the within Indenture and acknowledged the same to be their Act and Deed Executed by them for the purpose therein mentioned and desired that the same be Recorded as such Abigail his Wife having been examined by me Separate and alone from her said Husband S Mc Dougall Jus Peace (Seal)
