Will & Testament 247 of Aaron Case.
In the name of God Amen, I Aaron Case of Springfield Township, County
of Bradford and State of Pennsylvania, viewing life uncertain and at present
in good health and sound memory, do make this my last will and Testament
and
First of all I give my soul unto the hands of almighty God who gave
it and body to the dust,
Secondly I do will that all my debt should be paid out the remaining
of my property,
3rd ly, I give and bequeath to my son Philip Case thirty acres of land
lying on the east side of my farm beginning at the North East corner at
a hemlock tree, west forty perches to a post, thence South twenty five
degrees East until it crops the creek, thence Southardly along the bank
of said creek until that course crops the South branch of sugar creek thence
Westardly along the bank of said creek twenty perches to a post thence
South South to the South line of my farm thence East thirty three perches
to a post and stones it being the South east corner of my farm thence North
au the east line of my farm two hundred perches to the place of Beginning
Containing twenty five acres be the same more or less, Together with a
certain piece of land which I Bot of Samuel Conant
4thly I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Abigail Case, the use of
all the remainder and Remainders of all my property real & personal
so long as she remains my widow after which is to be divided amongst my
children as follows ( viz) all my male children to have double to my female
and in case my boys should die, his heirs to have the same as my daughters.
N. B. in case my beloved wife Abigail should marry, I do give and bequeath
one third of all my Real and Personal Property to her excepting the thirty
acres of Philip. In Testimony whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal this
fifteenth day of August AD 1817,
