Many users of the cemetery lists are aware from their own research of omissions or errors in the lists online. Many of these lists were prepared twenty and thirty years ago and will therefore not include present day burials. Also all cemetery lists include errors and omissions and these are certainly no exception. I welcome all corrections but please be precise and accurate in them and include some authentification to your information.
I will post additions and corrections at the bottom of individual cemetery lists if you give me the full name, and tombstone information of the burial. Also indicate how you know this, ie. visit to the cemetery, obituary, etc. The note will also have to include your full name (first and last).. It must be in format that I can just copy and paste it to the page without retyping or editing. Also please tell me the county, township and cemetery as this list covers three counties and there is much duplication of cemetery names. Put POSSIBLE CEMETERY CORRECTION as the subject line of your message.
If you send in a new cemetery list and it includes only your own family, please say so. It is very disturbing to have someone submit a cemetery list as a complete list, and then find out it is just a partial.
Messages such as "my wife's grandmother is buried in that cemetery," do not help me or other users. Please be as precise in your submission as the standard you are measuring the list against.
Thanks to all the volunteers who have made this resource go online so rapidly and thanks to all who submit additional information to improve its quality. Joyce M. Tice
